We are certified Animal Welfare Approved, an American Livestock Breeds Conservancy farm and we practice the Juliette de Baïracli Levy method of animal husbandry. We raise heritage breeds of chickens and a closed herd of Jersey-Devon cows. We do not use chemicals nor fertilizers and our livestock grazes freely, each day of the year. All of our provisions are seasonal and our quantities fluctuate sometimes due to inclement weather but in a perfect year we; are prolific in eggs Spring-Autumn, less abundant in raw butter and raw cheeses in Winter, we harvest poultry Spring-Summer, we harvest Angus Beef and offer Pastured Pork Spring and Autumn, and we commence Pastured Turkey Pre-Orders in October for Thanksgiving and Christmas deliveries. We collaborate with colleague Florida farmers to establish a diverse local pastured-food-shed which gives more people greater access to Florida Farms and strengthens Florida’s agricultural self-sufficiency. Most people understand why the tomato grown and harvested closest to the salad plate tastes better and is far more nutrient. The same principle applies to Raw Dairy, genuine Pastured Eggs and Slow Meats. Our Farmhand Jessica picks up local seasonal vegetables from Alderman Organic and small quantities of produce from organic North Florida Farms, making it available to the public on Saturday mornings. All the produce is sold at wholesale pricing so that more families have greater access to more organic food. We hope to help you transition your kitchens to a bounty of Florida grown farm provisions!
